Cleanings
Professional dental cleanings (dental prophylaxis) include a dental exam and the following:
Removal of calculus (tartar) - Calculus is hardened plaque that has been left on the tooth for some time and is now firmly attached to the tooth surface. Calculus forms above and below the gum line and can only be removed with special dental instruments.
Removal of plaque - Plaque is a sticky, almost invisible film that forms on the teeth. It is a growing colony of living bacteria, food debris, and saliva. The bacteria produce toxins (poisons) that inflame the gums. This inflammation is the start of periodontal disease!
Teeth polishing - Remove stain and plaque that is not otherwise removed during tooth brushing and scaling.
Aligners
Patients, especially adults, who would like to correct their smiles are often apprehensive about wearing braces to achieve the results they want. We offer a solution! ClearCorrect is similar to Invisalign and uses clear aligner trays to gradually move your teeth into ideal alignment.
ClearCorrect has many convenient benefits:
Removable – Your trays are removable so you can clean your teeth normally.

Six Month Braces
If you want a beautiful smile without the long-term commitment of complete orthodontic treatment, we offer Six Month Braces to cosmetically correct your teeth in an average of six months.
With Six Month Braces, we correct only the teeth that are visible when you smile. This expedites the treatment and provides beautiful results. Six Month Braces use clear brackets and memory wires that apply constant low-force pressure, moving your teeth into alignment.
Treatment takes approximately six months. This might be shorter or longer, depending on your needs.
Dentures
Completing your smile with dentures is about more than just appearances. The proper denture can give you a beautiful smile and help you eat a healthy diet.If your dentures slip, move, fall out, or cause sores, you may not be able to eat the healthy foods you love. Ill-fitting dentures can also keep you from enjoying social gatherings with your friends and loved ones.

Wisdom Teeth Extractions
Most dental offices give you a referral when it’s time for wisdom teeth to come out. At Northview Dental, however, we can comfortably and effectively remove problematic wisdom teeth right here.
